ANSWER:

It depends on which of the 5 courses you choose.

For the evening classes, the course duration is at least 3 months. But you can also sign up for 6 or 9 lesson months and pay accordingly less monthly fee (see prices evening classes).

Important: The evening courses have a 4-week period of cancellation. If you do not cancel your evening course in written form, up to 4 weeks before the end of the contract, the course will be automatically extended by 4 more weeks.

The intensive course lasts at least one week (Mon - Fri) and includes a total of 30 lessons. Classes take place between 9:00 and 14:00 in the GoAcademy! Düsseldorf instead.

The intensive German course lasts at least two weeks (Mon - Fri) and includes either 20 (standard course) or 30 (intensive course) lessons.

  • Standard German course: The Standard Course takes place between 9:00 and 12:15, with 4 lessons per day (including breaks).
  • Intensive German course: The Intensive Course takes place between 9:00 and 14:00, with 6 lessons per day (including breaks).

For the one-to-one tuition, lessons are booked in the package. You can book 10, 20 or 50 lessons with the private language trainer. The big advantage of this variant is the high level of flexibility. The time, duration and type of lessons will be discussed with the trainer on an appointment-by-appointment basis. The private lessons can be extended as often as you like. Cancellations up to 48 hours before the lesson start are free of charge.

The Latin Intensive Course lasts 4 weeks. Lessons take place from Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 17:00 (including breaks). Special units on Saturdays are possible.

How can I find out my language level?

After completing the test, you will immediately receive automatic feedback from our system with the evaluation of the 1st part (of the 40 questions). To find out the result of the 2nd part (the letter), you can contact us at any time.

A0 = Absolute beginner
A1 = Beginner with easy previous knowledge
A2 = Beginner with good previous knowledge
B1 = Intermediate
B2 = Intermediate level plus
C1 = Advanced
C2 = Advanced plus

How long do I need to reach a higher level?

There is no universal answer to this question, as the learning outcomes depend both on the individual person and the chosen course form and duration.

Of course, a motivated student will achieve greater learning.

In the evening courses, which take place once or twice a week, the foreign language is learned and consolidated constantly and over a longer period of time.

Intensive courses teach the foreign language intensively in a relatively short time. With this form of course, it is possible to achieve great learning progress in a short time. However, we recommend that after completing the course you continue to refresh and expand what you have learned, for example in the form of an evening class.

In one-to-one lessons, the trainer can specifically address the needs of the participant. The individual lessons can be designed very individually. With the right motivation, the greatest possible learning success can be achieved.

How many students are in a class?

The group size depends on the chosen course form.

The evening classes have between 4 and 9 participants per class. German evening courses can have up to 12 participants per class.

The intensive courses have between 4 and 9 participants. If fewer than 4 participants register for a course, the number of lessons will be reduced from 30 to 25 or 20 lessons per week.

The small group courses have between 3 and 6 participants. If fewer than 3 participants register for a course, the number of lessons will be reduced from 30 to 25, or 20 lessons per week.

GoAcademy! Language school Düsseldorf offers both private lessons as well as the less expensive lessons for two. However, it should be noted that the second person must be brought by the student. The GoAcademy! Sprachschule Düsseldorf can not provide second person for this variant.

In Latin intensive courses, the group size is a maximum of 14 participants. A course can only be created when at least 6 participants have registered.

When can I start my language course?

The start date depends on the chosen course type.

We recommend that you take our free placement test on our homepage or at our language school.

After receiving the result of your placement test, we can find the most suitable course for you. The course will then match students with the same language level.

For the evening courses, you can join an already running course immediately with the help of a free trial lesson, unless you are an absolute beginner with no previous knowledge of the language.

For the intensive courses, you are bound to specific course dates. Please contact us. We will be happy to advise you.

For private lessons, you can start as soon as we have your written registration. You can decide when you want to start, how long you want to study, how often and when you want to take your lessons with one of our trainers.

The 4-week intensive Latin courses take place twice a year, each time during the semester break. (February/March and July/August). Registration is exclusively online via our homepage.

The German intensive courses start every Monday. Except for the A0 courses (absolute beginners) have fixed starting dates. Please contact us. We will be happy to advise you.
