General

Cambridge English Language Assessment offers certificate exams in English for non-native speakers. Until 2013, the name was "University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations", where the abbreviation ESOL stands for "English for Speakers of Other Languages".

Cambridge English offers exams for general English, work-related English, academic English, English for children and teaching qualifications, and tests the four language skills of writing, reading, listening and speaking.

The Cambridge Exams are issued annually by around four million candidates in more than 130 countries and are recognized by 13,500 colleges, institutions and companies worldwide.

Cambridge English is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) of the Council of Europe, ensuring international comparability of the audit results.

The Cambridge English exams are taken at authorized examination centers, for example at private language schools or universities. There are 2,800 Cambridge English Examination Centers in 130 countries worldwide. The exam dates are uniform worldwide and evaluated centrally in Cambridge.

Cambridge English: Advanced (CE C1) is the second highest exam. The certificate entitles students to study at universities in the United Kingdom.

Cambridge English: Proficiency (ENG C2) is the most demanding of the exams. The certificate is aimed at people who are non-native English speakers and proves that the people concerned have reached a very high level in the English language and can communicate in style and error in almost any situation. This exam is an entry requirement for English-language study programs at many universities.

The reason: As a licensed language and examination center, we stand for professional teaching and want to communicate this with our name. Our partners, language students and companies from abroad already know us under the name GoAcademy!

In addition to language courses for private individuals and companies, we also offer language courses in 40 different countries. Fun learning is an essential part of our concept. That is why our experienced and native-speaker trainers make the lessons lively and communicative. As a testing center for internationally recognized language certificates, we know what matters in language training. We are certified for our customer orientation and the quality of our services by the TÜV Rheinland according to DIN ISO 9001: 2015 standard as well as according to AZAV standard as continuing education provider for educational leave.
