Test your language level with our free placement test
Test your language skills in about 15 minutes and learn your language level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
With the placement test you have the opportunity to gain an initial overview of your language skills and, for example, to search for a suitable language course based on the achieved level.
To do this, you must answer 40 multiple-choice questions and write a short text. The placement test includes several tasks that will test your reading comprehension and German vocabulary and grammar skills.
Once you have completed all the test tasks, you will be shown your language level at the end of the test. You will receive via email a detailed evaluation of your results. These include the CEFR descriptions of your language level, the correct solutions and recommendations for further learning.
